Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and the Faithful of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo,

1. Congratulations:

We extend our hearty congratulations to all the 7 priests who were ordained on 29 July. We wish them many blessings in their new journey of life and service.
Congratulations to Sr. Bernadette Ncube, Sr. Monica Mary Ncube, Sr. Paul Mary Manchu and Sr. Helen Chavi of CPS congregation who will celebrate their golden jubilee of religious profession on 12 August 2023. We wish them many blessings.
Congratulations to Sr. Thadeus Mutasa and Sr. Petronella Ncube of AMR congregation for their golden jubilee of religious profession and Sr. Zingai Sibanda for her silver jubilee which will be celebrated on 1 September. May the Lord continue to bless them.

2. Gratitude: 

I thank the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council for the wonderful work they did for the ordination of priests and the jubilee celebrations for Archbishop Emeritus Pius Ncube.

3. Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima on 6 August:

We will start at 09.00 with talks, confessions, rosary followed by Holy Mass.
We encourage all to come as families to pray for peace and strong faith.

4. Appreciation:

We extend our appreciation to ZRP and various departments of law enforcement that took action to arrest some of the robbers who have been causing havoc in our parishes. We cannot take security of our parishes lightly. Each parish should do as much as possible to ensure the security of priests and the property of the Church.

5. Episcopal Ordination:

The Episcopal Ordination of Rt. Rev. Eusebius Nyathi will take place on 23 September 2023 at St. Paul's School at Gokwe. We wish him many blessings for the new ministry of service in the Church.
