Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and Laity of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo,

As we have begun well 2023 let us move forward with faith, hope and love in implementing the Pastoral Resolutions which we have agreed upon at our AGM. The good of the whole Church should be always kept in mind in all our planning and activities.

1. Appointments:

1.1. Fr. Moses Maseko as the Priest in Charge of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Trenance

1.2. Fr. Agreement Ngwenya as the Priest in Charge of Uganda Martyrs Parish, Luveve

1.3. Fr. Limukani Ndlovu as the Dean of Eastern Deanery

2. Major Expected Events of 2023:

2.1. 28 January: Meeting of all the Associations at Our Lady of Fatima

2.2. 18 March: Centenary Celebration of St. Joseph Mission, Semokwe

2.3. 04 April: Chrism Mass

2.4. 29 July: Priestly Ordinations

2.5. 20 August: Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima

2.6. 09 September: Golden Jubilee of Minda Mission

2.7. 06 October Pilgrimage to Empandeni Mission

2.8. 03-05 November AGM of the Laity

3. Grade 7 Results 2022:

The effect of Covid 19 and closure of schools is the main cause for the low pass rate and this situation will continue for a while because of the lost learning time.
