Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and the Faithful of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo
1. Upcoming Events in the Archdiocese of Bulawayo:
1.1. Opening of the World Meeting of Families: This will take place on 22nd June at St. Mary's Basilica starting at 17.00 hours
1.2. Closing of the World Meeting of Families: This will take place at Our Lady of Fatima, Pumula South on 25th June starting at 09.00 hours to 14.00. This day also happens to be the feast of Immaculate Heart of Mary which is the Patron feast of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo. All are invited to this day.
1.3. Priestly Ordination: We hope to have 3 candidates for priestly ordination this year which will take place on 30 July at Our Lady of Fatima, Pumula South.
1.4. Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima: Due to Covid-19 pandemic we were not able to celebrate the Pilgrimage to Fatima for the past three years. This year we wish to gather for our pilgrimage on 21 August. We will begin this day at 09.00 hours with spiritual talk, confessions and end with Holy Mass by 14.00 hours.
2. Junior Pastoral Council:
Following are the elected members of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo Junior Pastoral Council:

Vice Chairperson: Charmaine Masamvu
Secretary: Susan Moyo
Vice Secretary: Priasha Mukona
Treasurer: Tapuwa Munyaka
Committee Members: will be all the chairpersons of deaneries and the Archdiocesan chairperson of the CYA.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the members of the Archdiocesan Synodal team both core and extended for their performance of duty. They completed their task on time and the pre synodal meeting which was held on 28 May was well organised.
4. World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly 2022:
This will be celebrated on 24th July. A prayer and some pastoral directions for this day is already sent to the parishes.
