Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and  the Faithful of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo,

Let me take this opportunity to thank each of you for your  commitment and dedication in coming closer to the mercy of God during 2016. By the mercy of God we all have been enriched spiritually and pastorally. Therefore I wish you all many blessings for a Happy Christmas. May you enjoy the love of God in your hearts and families during this festive season. My prayers will accompany you during this season of Christmas and to begin the year 2017.

1. Grade 7 Results from our Schools 2016: Our schools have made a reasonable progress this year amidst the many challenges. These results are based on units passed.
St. Thomas Aquinas: 100%
Minda: 100%
St. Patrick’s: 95.3%
St. Bernard’s 89.1%
Magama: 64.1%
Embakwe: 77%
Brunapeg: 54%
Regina Mundi: 81.5%
St. Joseph’s: 42.7%
Empandeni: 38.9%
Ekusileni: 26%.

2. Pastoral Theme for 2017: For next year our theme is “Catholic Families the Future of the Church”. This theme will be officially launched  in each deanery on 29th January 2017. The purpose is to encourage catholicity in  our families. The detailed pastoral resolutions will be sent to you soon.

I also take this opportunity to wish you  many blessings to a good start to 2017.
